This Week's Progress:

Here are some GPS Buttons I'm designing. They are going to be tested out., Still a work in progress, but it's starting to come together!
I'm putting all of the buttons on a .5mm "raft". This part will be engraved by the 3080 CNC mill.
Small progress is still progress.

Tip of the Week:

This week's tip is that you can find rough measurements with a tool called eleif.net
https://eleif.net/photo_measure.html
This will let you get a concept of how big everything is. All you have to do is input one dimension, and the rest will be scaled up to that dimension. Unfortunately this does not take advanate of perpective and tilted planes, so it works best with pictures that are not tilted. On the image used a known dimension of (about) 39.5", and found the instrument was about 3.34" (actually 3.125", but within a quarter of an inch). This will help you find a lot of dimensions if you don't have a reliable source for them.
