Hokkaido is getting really warm but it cools off in the evening which is really nice! I am sending cooling wind your way! We have begun our base schedule. Since we are few in numbers and mostly family we are adjusting as we go. This is what the schedule looks like currently.
Monday 9 - 10 am Worship/Intercession
Tuesday 9 - 10 am Staff meeting
Wednesday 9 - 10 am Worship focusing on adoration
Thursday 9 - 10 am Bible study using read scripture. https://www.readscripture.org/
Friday 9 - 10am Worship/Intercession
We also alternate making dinner to eat all together on the weekdays. We are getting our rhythm here, getting to know more people and grocery stores that are around us.
I have begun my journey to get my drivers license. I was nervous going into it but it has been a blessing doing something different and new in my life. The journey to get a Japanese drivers license is very different than Canada (Kyle's experience) so Kyle and I have fun conversation every time I am done with my class. Please pray that I will pass the tests and get my license without any problems! I am very excited to take my kids around without needing Kyle's help all the time.
運転免許を取るために自動車学校に通い始めました！最初はすごく緊張しましたが驚く事にすごい祝福となっています。いつもと違う事をして、新しい事を学んでいて楽しいです。カイルがカナダで免許をとった時のプロセスとは全然違うのでクラスが終わるとよくカイルと一緒にクラスの内容を楽しく話しています。ぜひ免許がスムーズに取れるようにお祈りください！子供を乗せてドライブしに行く日が待ち遠しいです！
北海道の色んなところに行きました！今月オープンしたばかりのウポポイという国立アイヌ博物館に行きアイヌ文化にふれました。さらに富良野にあるラベンダー畑、旭川動物園、旭川で友人が経営しているカフェにも遊びに行きました。北海道にある様々な美しいものと出会う良い時間となりました。

This month we traveled to different parts of Hokkaido as a base. We went to Upopoy Ainu (Native peoples of Japan) Museum that recently opened in the beginning of the month and learned Ainu culture. We also visited the lavender fields in Furano, Asahikawa Zoo and our friend's cafe which is also in Asahikawa. It was a refreshing and enjoyable time for all of us.
LINDEN &Matilda
リンデン& マチルダ
In few days Linden will have his birthday! Our baby boy is turning 2! it is such a fun age! There are more things that are difficult but so are the fun stuff! Recently Linden is enjoying running and drawing.
Matilda is 4 months old! She loves to snuggle, loves to see mommy's and daddy's face and the more attention the better! Linden was a little different than Matilda so it is fun to enjoy their differences.
In these few months Linden and Matilda have grown so much. Kyle and I also have been growing as parents. Please pray that our parenting will be pleasing to the LORD and for our children to encounter God's Kingdom in their own home.
