26th July 2020
Dear Friends,
Today is the 17th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Click here for the Scripture Readings.
In the Gospel passage set for today, Jesus teaches that to find God we must look in the ordinary things and people who are already in our lives. This is easier said than done in a world that tempts us to be constantly on the look-out for something new around the corner rather than rejoice in what we have.

Dates for your diary:
After so long apart these are two splendid occasions to be together as a church family!
Sunday 2nd August Summer Picnic. Please join us in St Paul's Church garden for a Bring-your-own picnic from midday. There will be light snacks and a free bar. All Welcome! Click here for more details
Sunday 16th August 9.30am Please come to Church for the Feast of the Assumption of Mary. As well as the outdoor mass, there will be a quartet of fabulous singers providing marvellous music and a procession of Our Lady around the Churchyard, with homemade cakes, coffee and Amaretto afterwards. Click here for more details.
Weekday Mass times
Because of the current restrictions and the building works in church we will follow a simplified pattern of mass times until 6th September when we hope to be back in church.
Sundays 9.30am outdoor Solemn Mass at Old St Pancras
Wednesdays 11am Mass in St Paul's Church followed by coffee
Thursdays 10am Mass at Old St Pancras followed by coffee
Simon, our Director of Music is on holiday this week so there is no musical reflection, but click here to watch one of my favourites sung by young people who really bring joy!
I look forward to seeing many of you at 9.30am for the outdoor Mass.
Every Blessing,
Fr James
