Arctic Mission Offering | August 29

The annual North Pacific Union Conference offering, in support of Arctic Missions, is August 29th. This offering is one of the major funding sources for the AMA ministry which is fully funded by donations from supporters like you.  AMA focuses on reaching over 220 bush villages throughout Alaska. Through radio and Bible workers, we have been blessed to enter several communities.  But there is much work to be done!  Please pray for this ministry and if the Lord leads you, make a donation in support of sharing the Good News to our Alaska Native brothers and sisters. Donations can be made through AdventistGiving, by text to 206-222-9916 and enter the word "donate" or direct at the AMA website.  Thank you for your support of this vital ministry!

Adventist Schools Re-open
Our Adventist schools across the state start the 2020-2021 school year this month. During this unprecedented time, we ask that you keep our students and teachers in prayer as they minister to our children. To learn about your school’s reopening plan, contact them directly.

Amazing Grace Academy News
School Re-Opening August 19thAfter extensive work by its re-opening committee and School Board, AGA have come up with a Covid plan to re-open the school up for in-person classes on August 19th. It’s been quite a task trying to balance safety, security and also the need to give students as normal a school experience as possible. As with any new endeavors, there will be bumps in the road, so AGA asks for prayer to keep their students and staff safe during this uncertain time.

Employment OpportunitiesAGA is looking for an aide for the 1st and 2nd grade classroom and administrative assistant for the 2020-2021 school year.  The aide needs to be good with kids, energetic, and willing to help the teacher in a large variety of ways. The administrative assistant is the face of the school. For this position, AGA is looking for a person committed to the ministry of Adventist education and relational outreach, someone with good organizational skills, and has a basic understanding of the Microsoft Office suite applications.  If you are interested in either position, please send your resume to principal Dane Bailey at Dane.Bailey@amazinggraceacademy.org or alaskaaga@gmail.com.
