Dear Prayer Team,
Thank you for praying for me, my family, and our church family. I am so grateful for your ministry of intercession.
We’re ending a very different but good Family Bible Week tomorrow. Thank you for praying for all of the details to come together. The whole point was to point people to their Bibles to know Jesus and make Him known. Pray for a lasting impact.
Heather and I are getting away this week for a much needed rest. Please pray that I would totally unplug, read and eat good things, and take a real break. My mind needs it as much as the rest of me.
Please pray for the church while we’re away. We are still pretty scattered as a church family, and there are a lot of moving parts. I’m glad for a terrific Elders Team, faithful ministry volunteers, and a visit by my own pastor, Kerry Doyal, to preach next weekend. Pray for people to be brought into and grown in a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Thank you again for your prayers. I will be in touch in August with a new list of things to pray about as we contemplate what faithful ministry looks like in the next season.
