July & August Prayer Guides

We regularly provide a calendar-based prayer guide for congregants to use as they pray privately. You are encouraged to save this or print it out and keep it somewhere where you'll be reminded to use it as you pray. Please find the July 2020 Prayer Calendar. Please find the August 2020 Prayer Calendar.

Worship This Week

We will offer gathered worship this Sunday, August 2 at 10:30 a.m., but will continue to welcome those who are more comfortable to worship with us virtually via our Facebook page. If you can't catch us at that time, a replay will be made available on our website on Monday.

Effective July 1, Seminole County requires every person to wear a mask and follow CDC social distancing guidelines while at all businesses, places of assembly, and in public. This means that all people in attendance at CPC for worship or other activities must wear a mask.

There are a few relevant exceptions. You may remove your mask if you are:

  • Outdoors and social distancing.
  • Under the age of two years.
  • Eating or drinking.
  • Communicating with someone who is hearing-impaired and must see the mouth of someone wearing a mask in order to communicate.

We do have a limited number of adult and child-sized masks available if you do not have one or forget yours. You will be asked to wear your mask at all times while worshiping or congregating at CPC.

Further, IF YOU ARE SICK OR FEELING UNDER THE WEATHER, even if your symptoms do not indicate COVID-19, please DO NOT come to church. Stay home, rest and recover, so that you can join us again when you're feeling better. This goes for your children as well.

Please consider the needs of your neighbors and community at this time and act with grace and love by complying with this executive order and our request for healthy gathering.

Give Today! 2020 Baby Bottle Campaign

It's become our custom at the beginning of each summer to raise money of the Oviedo Pregnancy Center, a local not-for-profit medical facility offering free women's services to more than 200 clients in our community each month. All of OPC's services are free and confidential. We support these efforts not only because we are proponents of life in the womb, but because we hold an ethic that values the Imago Dei. That is, we seek to follow the model of Christ that Paul laid out to the church at Philippi: ambassadors of reconciliation, instruments of God’s justice, and those who crave the righteousness of God, understanding that the call to defend life is a call to justice in the world. This year, we'll be filling our bottles virtually. Give a tax-deductible donation and share this opportunity with your friends and networks! You can start here.
