Hey Good is Better family,

It's just hours until Storytime for the Apocalypse!!! People describe Storytime as the warmest hug, and a balm to the soul. Perhaps it's something like that for you as well?

Join at 7:30 pm Pacific, which is 12:30 pm Australian Eastern.

The link you need is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87832748971 or if you're joining with a meeting ID it is 878 3274 8971. See you soon!

Today at Storytime you'll find out answers to these questions and so many more:

Who co-directed a pandemic film festival where winners received rolls of toilet paper as well as global accolades?

Who has been doing an #isophoto challenge daily throughout the pandemic whilst also fostering an in-training service pup who'll graduate to support a veteran living with PTSD?

Whose production debut feature film starred Kristin Bell and Adam Brody?

Who is reading in two languages at Storytime?

Occasionally Storytime gets blessed by having the author of a reading attend the event. It happened for Episode 1 with Char Miller, Episode 3 with Nick Galanaitis, Episode 7 with Adam Troy Castro and I am delighted to tell you that it happens again today. We will be joined by Eames Demetrios, Geographer-at-Large, Director of the Eames Office, and Board Chairman of the Eames Foundation (yes, oh-my-goodness, he happens to be the actual grandson of Charles and Ray Eames). He'll take us a little deeper into Kcymaerxthaere, a world he crafts as a 'three dimensional fiction' which is simply, and complexly, wonderful. Eames will be part of the Q&A at Storytime. Come meet him, and your readers, and each other!
When people talk about Storytime, they use words like powerful, beautiful, gorgeous, inspired, amazing, delightful, lovely, remarkable, resonant, and luxurious. What will your word be?

We get started today, Monday 27 July at 7:30 pm if you're on the west coast of the United States. That makes it 12:30 pm Tuesday in Australia, unreasonably early in Europe, and a hundred seconds to midnight on the Doomsday Clock no matter where you are. See you sooner than soon!
I'm ready...take me to Storytime!
