Online Events
Biomaker COVID19 Initiatives
In response the current global pandemic, Biomaker has launched a number of new initiatives focussing on online training materials and low-cost device design. Activities include: a beginners handbook, video tutorials and a low-cost incubator for diagnostics. 
World Bioeconomy Forum
10th September
Sessions include: regulators and climate change, global leaders and financial world, bioproducts around us and looking to the future. Registration standard: £250, academics and NGOs: £150, students: £50
 
Postdocs to Innovators Online Courses
Course start: 5th October
Register by: 25th September

p2i are offering two free online courses for University of Cambridge postdocs interested in learning to think entrepreneurially in academia, industry and in ventures.
 
Seminars and Talks
App-based contact tracing: epidemiological rationale and current perspectives
17th August
Dr Luca Ferretti will discuss how contact-tracing apps have been used to tackle COVID-19, including the the limitations and challenges of existing implementations.
Genome Futures
27th August

Part of the Genome Lates series. Dr Alex Lathbridge will talk to early career researchers, and scientists from the Wellcome Genome Campus about their work and the contribution it will make to the future landscape of genomics and biodata.
