Water and Energy for Food Portal Launched

We are happy to announce the launch of the Water and Energy for Food portal on energypedia, developed by the GIZ’s Water and Energy for Food Program. This portal is a revamped version of the Powering Agriculture portal on energypedia.
Agriculture accounts for up to 30% of the global energy consumption and up to 70% of the world's freshwater resources. Browse through the portal to get up-to-date information on climate-friendly agricultural practices as well as innovative practices and technologies for saving water and energy while increasing agricultural yields. However, if it does not exists, the article title will be shown in red color. Click on the red-colored link. You will now be directed to an empty page. Fill this page with your content and save it. Congratulations, you have successfully created an article!

Since 2013, the Energising Development (EnDev) partnership is piloting results-based financing (RBF) approaches to enhance energy access markets with funding provided by UK’s Department for International Development (DFID).
With its Result-based Fund (RBF) Facility’s webinar series, EnDev now wants to share lessons learnt and experiences in five webinars between June and November 2020.
