Remember March?
I was reminded of March today when I saw two different staff desks with that old calendar page still on top. I only just changed the pages of our staff schedule calendar over to July. It's hard to believe that it has been 4 months since we had to close our doors. We've all learned a lot (understatement!), devised our own strategies for staying as safe as possible, and kept an eye to the future -- even though we don't really know what that will look like.
Right now, our view of Stratham is pretty great. You are using curbside pickup so we know you have books, movies and audiobooks (which makes me so happy!). And, we see how conscientious everyone is being - wearing masks and giving each other plenty of space. These are some of the ways we show that we care about each others' well being. I've had several conversations with friends hoping that one silver lining in this pandemic might be more kindness, concern for others, and a lot more handwashing(!).
Bringing you some things I'm learning right now, some book recommendations to give you ideas for requests, and at least one thing to make you smile.
It's almost time to turn that calendar page to August and who knows what that month will bring!
