Who Doesn't Love A Good Laugh?

The Pink Hammer
by Michele Amas (Theatre Royal 26th to 28th August)
is packed with brilliant moments that will tickle you into laughing out loud.

But there's more to it than that - Hugh says,
"As director I've had a blast working with such a talented and hardworking cast. Plus, it's been such fun working on what is a classic kiwi comedy that has an intriguing twist towards the end......"

Cast member Ally Hossain who plays Louise says,
I am delighted to be taking on the role of Louise. Her fear of power tools is certainly one I can well relate, not exactly being a DIY expert myself!
What would her character, Louise say if asked what she'd do with a hammer? She'd build a tiny house with plenty storage for Cuban cigar boxes!

Jenny Holden thinks she has a good recipe analogy for playing the character of Annabel:
"Measure out 1 cup of bossiness
1 cup of briskness
Half a cup of condescension
Mix in a teaspoon of salt
Add quarter of a cup of regret and a tablespoon of vulnerability
Stir in the remaining secret ingredient to add spice
Serve cold and thickly sliced!"

"As the recipe indicates, the character of Annabel has been a wonderful one to play.  It feels great being able to entertain Nelson audiences again, after the challenges we have all faced over the last few months.
