GREETINGS FROM YOUR EXALTED RULER

And just like that we approach the end of summer.  As we move towards the second half of the year we are still missing some friends.  Currently, we are around 50 delinquent members.  If you think that you may have missed your dues notice please contact us so we can work to rectify that situation.

The golf tournament was a huge success.  Twenty-one total teams competed in the 3 divisions.  18 hole sponsors help provide prizes for the day.  Beerco and NWO distributors provided door prizes.  Volunteers, Kerry Jones, Val Zeno, Bill Nordholt, Steve Wilson, Steve Hickey, Bobbi Jo Steinmetz, Melody Snyder, Crystal Johnson, and Karen Wiecek all helped make the day a huge success!  We’ve locked in Saturday, July 24th, 2021!  Mark your calendars.

We are still golfing every Sunday night at Clinton between 5:30 and 6, all ages and skill levels welcome.  Non-members are welcome as well.

Reminder Lodge meetings are the 3rd Thursday of the month at 8 pm.  August meeting will be on the 20th and hopefully, we will be having initiation.  All are welcome to attend.

Please be patient as we continue to use volunteer help at the club.  With all of the COVID regulations keeping everyone safe and our continued use of volunteers its not always comfortable but the trustees are trying their best.

FROM THE TRUSTEES

We hope everyone is enjoying the summer.
 
The Elk’s Golf Outing was a lot of fun and once again successful thanks to all the hard work put in by Chuck Jones and his team.
Thank you to Gary and Teresa Stephens (Sgt. Oink’s BBQ) for helping with the delicious food.
 
The Tiffin Regatta has been rescheduled to September 13.
 
Gun Raffle ticket sales at the Tiffin Farmer’s Market have been steady. We are looking for volunteers to help work the Elk’s booth in August. The farmer’s market is scheduled for Aug 8 and 22 from 9 AM to 1 PM. If interested contact Steve Wilson or any Trustee.
 
We need every member’s help to make the gun raffle a successful fundraiser for the Lodge. If you have sold the tickets you received and need more there are plenty at the club. If you haven’t sold your tickets, we are asking you to try your best. Cash prizes will be awarded to early top ticket sellers in September.
 
We enjoy and appreciate everyone visiting the Club. Help us follow COVID guidelines as we work through this time. Wear a mask into the club until you are seated. Practice social distancing while visiting.
 
Build-A-Burger August 1st.
No other scheduled events at this time but stay tuned.
