It's only getting hotter.
If you live around Shelby County, you probably already know that August is the hottest part of the year. If your air conditioner is starting to act out, now is a good time to maintain it before it's too late.
Is your home more humid than it should be? Air conditioners work to keep the humidity in your home at a healthy level. Ideally, the humidity in your home should be between 40 and 50 percent. If the air in your home is too humid, not only does it feel warmer than it actually is, but it can indicate that the drain line for your air conditioner is clogged or not flowing properly. Clogged drain lines are a serious issue that, if left unattended, can cause more mechanical problems.
If your air conditioner isn't cooling like it should, or if you notice any unusual problems, it's better to fix it sooner rather than later.
