Pooch Plunge is Saturday, August 15

We are so excited to host the Pooch Plunge, but we do need you to know about a few improvements and changes!

Pay and Register for the Plunge

In order to keep participants and volunteers safe, pre-registration and pre-payment IS REQUIRED to attend the Pooch Plunge.

Only 100 attendees can come per session, so you must come the session you have registered to attend and we do ask that you only register and attend one session. If you do not pre-register, you must wait to enter until everyone who has registered for that session enters the event.

Please bring your receipt or paperwork with you the day of the event—you can also show it to check in staff on your cell phone.

Complete a registration form, and pay here >>>

We listened to dog owners last year, and created a 30-minute small dog session from 9:30-10 am. This session will only be for dogs who are 40 pounds and under. Here are all of the session times at the Pooch Plunge
  • NEW: Small Dogs Session (under 40 pounds only): 9:30-10 am
  • First All Dogs Session: 10:30-11:45 am
  • Second All Dogs Session: 12:15-1:30 pm
Dogs under 40 pounds are welcome to attend later sessions; however, all dogs, of all sizes, will be there, too.

Cost: $5 per dog, per session; hoomans get in free! Note: Handlers/owners are limited to two dogs; if you have four dogs, you must have two handlers.

Join the event on Facebook to follow the chatter!
As with any event, we have rules for the Pooch Plunge. There is also a COVID-19 update. You can read Fur Kids Foundation's Rules of the Pool and COVID-19 Update here. If you do not follow these rules, you will be asked to leave the event.

All you pet loving shutterbugs better warm that trigger finger up. Why? Fur Kids Foundation wants you to get your best photo of your pet and enter it into our 2020 Pet Photo Contest!

If your pooch has that special pizzazz, or your cat has style—or, if you have any other glamorous pet—you’ve gotta give them a chance to be on the cover of Fur Kids Foundation’s 2021 Pet Calendar.

The Contest begins on Saturday, August 1 at 8 am MT, and will run through Monday, August 31 at 8 pm MT. We have a goal to make $5,000; will you help us get there?

Here are some more details:
  • Entries are FREE; votes are $1 each.
  • Photos should contain pets only--birds, cats, chickens, dogs, ferrets, fish, guinea pigs, gerbils, goats, horses, lizards, pot belly pigs, rabbits, reptiles, snakes, among others—no people (humans) in the photo.
  • Images should be at least 1500 x 1200 dpi, or 1 MB in size.
  • Participants can "save a day" for $10 and guarantee to have their pet's photo in the calendar on a specific day.
  • Participants are encouraged to pre-order a calendar for $15 (cost of shipping included). A limited supply of calendars will be ordered this year, and calendar prices increase after the contest!
All contest rules can be found here.

We're giving you extra time—now get out there and take some photos of your pet!

Your donation saves lives!

Since September 2012, we've helped more than 785 families and granted more than $152K in emergency veterinary care.

Many people have been laid off in Campbell County, due to changing national and worldwide energy needs and wants, and due to COVID-19 and its effects on our national and state economy. Fur Kids Foundation has seen an uptick in families with pets who need help when their pet gets hurt or ill unexpectedly.  Read more stories of the pets you've helped stay healthy and with their families on the Success Stories page
