6. Find your own definition of success. Everyone is on their own journey, with different struggles, dreams and hopes. You don't owe anyone anything. You do you, and that is OK.
So, whats next?
Here are some things that can be done to tackle the Imposter Syndrome:
- We need encouragement, praise and we should celebrate small successes.
- We can take post-its and stick them on our mirror to read them every morning.
- Remind ourselves, that successes are based on our persistence and our hard work.
- Remind ourselves of all the times we stayed in to study.
- Remind ourselves, that failures are part of life and that it is a chance to learn. Bill Gates got 1010 rejections until an investor said yes to investing into Microsoft.
- Remind ourselves, that there is no elevator to success, no matter how we define success for ourselves.
