Built Heritage Investment Scheme 2019 & Historic Structures Fund 2019
Roscommon County Council in conjunction with the Department of Culture, Heritage & the Gaeltacht are inviting applications for the “Built Heritage Investment Scheme 2019” and the “Historic Structures Fund 2019”. Click here for more information.
Sliabh Bawn Community Benefit Fund
The 2018 Sliabh Bawn Community Benefit Fund is now open for applications and will close on January 31st, 2019.
The fund is available to community and voluntary groups, non-profit groups or organisations with a charitable status. The Sliabh Bawn Community Benefit Fund will prioritise projects and initiatives that support and benefit the area surrounding Sliabh Bawn. Click here for more information.
Social Inovation Fund - Sports Impact Fund
The goal of the fund is to support the innovative use of sports as a means to improve physical and mental health and to promote social inclusion for children, adolescents and adults. Click here for more information.
Social Inovation Fund - Arts Impact Fund
The goal of the fund is to support the innovative use of arts and culture as a means to improve skills development and to promote social inclusion for children, adolescents and adults. Click here for more information.
Social Inovation Fund - Early Childhood Fund
The goal of the fund is to provide critical support to projects and services focused on increasing the health and wellbeing (physical and mental), social and emotional skills, cognitive development and learning outcomes of children, from pregnancy to six years of age, with the goal of reduced inequalities, improved childhood and lifelong outcomes.Click here for more infotmation.

Volunteering Strategy – Call for Input
The Department of Rural and Ccommunity Development has just launched a call for input to inform and seek views from stakeholders on key topics under consideration to develop a National Strategy on Volunteering. If anyone wishes to make a submission all details can be found at the link below, the closing date for submissions is 14 February 2019.
Keadue Day Centre, Keadue
Why not join our award winning active age group? Participate in our weekly classes, make new friends and enjoy a 3 course meal daily. Free transportation to and from the centre every Monday Tuesday and Wednesday! Or join the local Rural Men’s Group every Thursday. All new members welcome. 3 course meal 7e. Activities include weekly Ceramic Class, Exercise and Painting. Hot dinners delivered daily plus free desert on Fridays all for 5e per day.
