Update on the Claremont Fund

WE HAVE RAISED $65k TOWARD OUR GOAL OF $100K

Thank you to all Claremont families for your support of the community this year! Thanks to you we have been able to fund critical programs including the school library and sports teams as well as extra needed staff in the classroom. We are now more than two thirds of the way to our annual goal for the school year. THANKYOU!

As we celebrate the holiday season, please consider making a generous end of the year contribution to the Claremont Fund.

A couple of notes:

• All contributions to the Claremont Fund are tax deductible- make them before the calendar year ends!

• Some companies are able to make a matching gift to our school. Find out about workplace matching gift programs.

• Every dollar you give to the Claremont Fund goes to making Claremont Middle School a better place for your child to go to school!

Ways to give:

1. Give online at The Claremont Middle School website.

2. Drop off a check to the front office payable to the Claremont PTA marked Claremont Fund or mail to the Claremont PTA, Claremont Middle School, 5750 College Ave., Oakland, CA 94618. Please include your full name, address and email address with your payment.

3. Ask your company if they do matching gifts. We are a 501c(3) non profit organization as a local chapter of the California PTA. Our EIN number is 94-6171801. This makes your gift go twice as far!

If you have any questions or ideas, please email Claremont PTA VP of Fundraising, Laura Deehan, lauradeehan@gmail.com

Thanks again for your support! Have a wonderful holiday season and best wishes in the New Year!

Adopt-a-family this 2018 Holiday Season!

As we approach the holiday season, we are seeking gift items to make the holidays a little bit brighter for several of our CMS students and their families. Please see link to learn more how you can help. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Give the Gift of Education

This holiday season, the best gift you can give your child is a good education. And the best place to get an education is in school. It’s tempting to extend your vacation by a few days, but remember, those days count as absences. Just a few missed days here and there, even if they’re excused absences, can add up to too much lost learning time. So make sure your child is in school every day, right up until vacation starts, and right when we return. Our teachers will be teaching, and our students will be learning.
