The offices of Wexford County Council will be closed from Monday 24 th December, 2018 to Friday 28 th December, 2018, inclusive. Offices will re-open on Monday 31 st December, 2018 and will close on Tuesday 1 st January, 2019.

South East Marketing Forum

 

 

The launch of the South East Marketing Forum (SMF) took place on Friday, 30 November in the newly renovated Greenway Manor Hotel in Waterford. The SMF is a networking group dedicated to enhancing, developing and innovating the region’s growth through business and marketing.

In attendance was over 100 marketing and business professionals from various industries with each of the five counties represented.

Workshops are scheduled across the South East throughout 2019 with a Gala Ball in May highlighting the unrecognised talent across each of the five counties. Booking is now open on www.SEMF.ie

Social Enterprise Development Fund

 

 

Calling all social enterprises in Wexford! We are delighted to announce that the Social Enterprise Development Fund has re-opened for a second year. The €1.6m fund is run by Social Innovation Fund Ireland in partnership with Local Authorities of Ireland, with the support of IPB Insurance and the Department of Rural and Community Development.

The Department of Rural and Community Development provides match funding for all funds raised by Social Innovation Fund Ireland, through the Dormant Accounts Fund.

Feasibility Study Grant
 
The Feasibility Study Grant can provide up to €15,000 in match-funding to research the viability and sustainability of a product or service and/or develop a prototype.

The Technical Assistance for Micro Exporters grant will part-fund the costs (up to €2,500) that can be incurred in investigating and researching export markets, e.g. exhibiting at trade fairs, preparing marketing material and developing websites specifically targeting overseas markets.

Vacant Property Incentive Scheme
 
If you set up a business in a vacant property then you may be eligible for a grant to help cover your fit-out costs.
By encouraging the occupation of vacant properties, Wexford County Council is supporting the appearance and attraction of an area, contributing indirectly to increased footfall for existing business.
