Dear Friends and Supporters,

Welcome to the December Newsletter edition! I am Samia Kassid, Senior Project Manager of our Rights of Children Department.
Busy weeks lie behind us: I just returned from Ghana, where we held a technical workshop on the establishment of the "One Stop Centres" (OSCs) model in Ghana. You may remember OSCs from Zanzibar: They provide survivors of (sexualised) violence and abuse with the most essential services under one roof.
Ghana is eager to enhance its child protection system and is now coordinating a pilot programme to establish the OSC in the country! A great success for our team, but an even bigger success for the children and their families in Ghana.

Our Rights of Children Department is currently working on another great project: we are just on the finish lines of our handbook for advancing Education for Sustainable Development. The handbook will present and analyse key success factors for policy and practice. So stay tuned for more information, we will publish it in early 2019!

Myself and the entire team at the World Future Council Foundation wish you a very happy and peaceful Christmas and season’s greetings, and a prosperous new year. Thank you for your attention and your continuous support! Without our supporters, our work for the rights of future generations would not be possible!
Best wishes, Samia Kassid
