FROM CLEVELAND AGO DEAN TIMOTHY ROBSON

Timothy Robson

Dear Colleagues,

The chapter’s Executive Committee met last week, and, among other things, there was a discussion of chapter scholarships. Although it was a preliminary discussion with scholarship coordinator Carol Neff, we hope to have soon a new outline and processes for scholarships that will clarify their purpose and make them more focused to attracting students of all ages to take up the organ, and (hopefully) join the AGO. There is a very stark shortage of organists; the AGO needs to do everything possible to help alleviate that shortage. Do you know someone who would be interested in joining the Guild? Get more information about joining AGO, and download a membership application.

There will be one more Weekly Update next week before we take a holiday. After December 20, the next update will be January 3, 2019.

Best regards,
Tim

NO DECEMBER CHAPTER EVENT

HollyThere is no Cleveland Chapter event in December. January will feature small group "cottage meetings" in members' homes about a variety of topics. Dates and details will be available in the next week or so.

NEW PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Have you changed your name, address, email address or other vital information? If so, please be sure to go to the ONCARD system at the national AGO site ([https://agohq.org/oncard-login/ ]).
