News

12/12/18 With deep sympathy we offer Lama Gursam and his family prayers, as his father passed away Tuesday morning at 3:15 AM at his home in Bir, Himachel Pardesh, India. Lama Gursam has generously shared his wisdom and supported our practice at the BSBC for many years; he is a true Dharma friend of our sangha. He was fortunate to be able to return to India to spend time with his father before he passed. Prayers are greatly appreciated. If you wish to mail a condolence correspondence, please address to

12/10/18 Acupuncturist, Herbalist and dhamma practitioner Matt Branham of Healing Path Acupuncture and Cross River Meditation Center, led the sangha in the physical foundations of mindfulness with Qigong and showed us a simple Quigong routine we can all do.  More about Matt http://www.healingpathacupuncture.com/

We collect and deliver donations to the Emergency Homeless Shelter. They are always in need of non perishable food items, paper products, and gift cards. However check out their Wish List if you want to give them what they really need.

We also collect for the local pet shelter. They need pet food and pet supplies (doesn't need to be new).

Please drop off your donation in a box in the lobby and consider
