Hello Borderlings from Near and Far!
The year is almost over and next year is just a weeks away. Borderland 2019 is slowly taking new shapes in both Dreams and Realities.
A new board has been elected! And here we are: sending out a message to present our role and intentions as a board for this year.
Borderland have been walking on the path of decentralisation during the past few years, increasingly transfering the power from the board to the community. This collective interactive planning is possible through platforms like Talk. We’ve seen the potential and want to continue walking on this path.

Realities Guide for community decisions
Something else that makes our bellies tingle is the emerging team of Reality Guides and the new platform for their work. It’s essential in order for the community to take over making decisions and plans regarding our infrastructure.
Can’t find on Talk what you’d like to discuss or change? Start a thread and get talking. Because Borderland is that magic spot between Dreams and Realities that what WE create TOGETHER.
Extra Annual Meeting 28 December
One more thing, on Friday 28th of December, 19:00 Stockholm time (time to be confirmed) there will be an Extra Annual Meeting, which is needed in order to close the books of 2018 and vote on discharge of the previous board. The meeting is going to be held online and link to it will be posted on Talk and FB the day before.
