Advent Sock Drive - Each weekend during Advent we will be collecting white socks for people experiencing homelessness. This is an ongoing need all year, but especially now as it gets colder. Your generosity will benefit those served by: Justa Center, André House, Paz de Cristo, and Circle the City. We are asking parishioners to bring the socks to the altar when they bring up their offering and place them in the baskets around the altar.

Advent Reconciliation - In a special way during the season of Advent, our Church asks us to use this time to prepare for the coming of our Lord by experiencing the grace and mercy found in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We have many opportunities for you to do so. Confessions will be heard every Saturday from 3:30 - 4:30 pm, on Monday, December 17 from 9:00 - 11:00 am. and there will be a Community Penance Service on Wednesday, December 19 beginning at 6:30 pm.

Lessons & Carols: You are Blessed, Now Begin - On Tuesday, December 18 at 7:00 pm, the St. Patrick Music Ministry invites everyone to join them for a night of stories and song featuring the Adult, Singing Angels, and Youth & Young Adult Choirs. This combined musical effort is truly a night you will never forget! There is a dessert potluck following the event. Click here to download the flyer
Happy New (Church) Year - Advent began a new liturgical Church Year. So what does that mean? Fr. Richard Rohr, a Franciscan priest in New Mexico, gives a quick eight minute homily on the Liturgical year for the Church and shares great insights as to how the life of Jesus is really our life as well. Use the player below to listen.

GIVING, PRAYING & SERVING:

Look for the latest Beyond Sunday expansion and campaign updates in this weekend’s bulletin. Things are moving forward.

Also, we have been receiving calls regarding end-of-year giving and whether we are accepting gifts to the Beyond Sunday capital campaign. The answer is "YES!"

Many parishioners are continuing their support by making new pledges and giving generously without an "official" campaign relaunch. There is an amazing spirit among this community to see the project to its completion! Thank you!

If you would like to continue your giving to the Beyond Sunday campaign or would like to make an end-of-year gift to the campaign, please call Diane Kar at 480-998-3843 ext. 137 or dkar@stpatcc.org or Sue Orlando at ext. 119 or sorlando@stpatcc.org.

We give thanks for all the blessings that God has given us. Thank you for your continued prayers!
