Campaign for Better Transport works for decent, affordable, accessible transport, so that we can all spend time with our communities, our friends and our families. We lobby national and local government to reopen rail lines and stations and protect treasured bus services.
We have a lot on our plate right now (and I'm not talking about turkey and roast potatoes). Passengers have faced a year of disruption and delays, with many missing their children’s bedtimes and family gatherings as new timetables threw the railways into chaos. Despite this, fares continue to rise, leaving train travel more unaffordable for many people. And as for buses, many vital services are under threat. But with your support we can make transport better. As Neil told us,

Every day I see older people using their bus passes, getting out to town or country and meeting people on the bus. I would like all people in the UK to have good public transport, particularly older people."
