Workshop on Trafficking
in the DC Area

Did you know that many victims of labor trafficking go unnoticed every day and do not receive the help they so desperately need?

The Respect Life Ministry invites you to partake in an educational workshop on trafficking in the DC area. The event will be led by the Archdiocese, Catholic Charities, and the Human Trafficking Legal Center.

Labor trafficking could be happening in your own neighborhood. Perhaps you saw someone today who needed your help while you were at a store or passing a house around the block.

Hear from a survivor of human trafficking on the warning signs and the most effective ways to help someone in such a situation. You can play an important role in ending this “shocking offence against human dignity and a grave violation of fundamental human rights,” to use the words of Pope Saint John Paul II.

For any questions, please contact Justin Silvers at jsilvers@cbndc.org. You may also call Norma Canedo at the Rectory at 202-347-3215.

  • Date & Time: Tuesday, December 11th at 6pm
  • Location: North Conference Room of the Cathedral (through garage entry, on right side of the church)
Refreshments will be served.
