In the Parish this weekend

It was a delight to welcome year 3 & 4 from Barnfields for their Christmas Concert last week. We look forward this week to welcoming years 5 & 6 and pupils from our own church school for their various concerts. Please pray for pupils and staff in all schools in the parish as they continue the long slog towards the holiday.

Christmas Fun Day

Baswich Community Group have organised a Christmas Fun Day outside Weeping Cross Shops on Saturday 15th December - join them for music, good food, and Christmas cheer. We'll be leading those there in a Christmas Carol singalong at the end of the day - do come along and add your voice! From 2pm-6pm (with us from approx 5.15pm)

Jim Penn RIP

Many of you will remember Jim Penn & his wife Pam from the time they lived next door to Brocton village hall. Very sadly Jim passed away earlier this week, and we hold his family in our prayers at this time. Jim's funeral will take place on the 14th December, with a service of thanksgiving being held at All Saints at 11.00am.

This week in our school -

It was behind us! Yrs 1 to 6 had a fantastic time at a performance of Dick Whittington in the Lichfield Garrick.
Flo, Lucy, James, Dylan and Daniel helped Mrs Joint by expertly taking part in a short sketch. Through their superb participation in our whole school worship, they helped to introduce the children to Christian Aid’s Christmas project – Be a Peacemaker this Christmas.
Yr 3 investigated the sugar content of various foods.
