Christmas Memories
 
Christmas is all about memories, past memories and memories you will make this year. That’s the reason we search so hard for the best gifts, especially for those we love. What can you give that says, “I love you” and “I am thinking of you”?  Gifts that evoke memories are a great choice, especially if that person doesn’t have a wish list.

Celebrations with food are some of our most powerful memories. Gifts of food and drink are always a great choice and we have some wonderful food and drink choices at the winery. We have a great selection of jellies, homemade here at the winery, including apple, blueberry, strawberry rhubarb, bumbleberry, grape and wine jellies.  We also have homemade apple butter and sorghum syrup (molasses). Add these to a gift basket with wine and chocolate or with other items and you have a great gift guaranteed to bring back fond memories!
 
This Saturday we are featuring our local wines, jellies, apple butter and sorghum syrup with FREE samples from 12 to 2 pm. Come and enjoy samples of my grandma’s famous quick biscuits she made for the farm hands (mostly family!) with fresh apple butter or “molasses” and butter. Have a hard cider or mulled wine to go with the “memories”. Think of it as my Christmas gift to you! I would love to tell you the stories behind the food and give you a copy to attach to your gift!
