This Sunday, December 9th, will be a high point of the holiday season as we gather for a special service devoted to the adoration of the Lord. ATCC members will magnify God through performances of song, spoken word and scripture. The whole congregation will join in singing Christmas anthems. And we are excited that Graham Baskin will be here to bring the message!
After the service, everyone is bringing homecooked holiday fare for a fellowship feast. And then we will have a wild and crazy good time with a white elephant gift exchange.
The service will be held at the Nunn Winston House Service Building at Keisel Park. Keisel Park is located at 520 Chadwick Ln in Auburn. The Nunn Winston House actually has a separate entrance that is a gravel road located close to the main Keisel Park entrance.
Here are some things you will want to remember for Sunday the 9th:
1. Arrive early, and allow extra driving time, as this North Auburn location is further away than the VFW.
2. Contact Beverly Pratt or Ines Livio if you do not know your food assignment.
3. Sign up with Carol Harden to help set up, serve the food, or clean up afterwards.
4. Bring a wrapped gift valued at no more than $5 for our white elephant gift exchange game. This present can also be something used that makes a good repurposed gift. Children can bring a gift as well and participate.
Invite your friends, and plan to arrive early. We'll make a lot of special memories.
Please plan to continue giving your contribution through the holidays, or to make it up when you return. The ATCC still has bills to pay!
