Farm Film & Food Night
You are invited!
Homer Soil & Water is organizing an event for farmers this Tuesday, December 11th and we hope you can make it. Join us for a group session with Save-U-More's produce manager Justin to discuss expanding the stores local produce offerings. Justin wants to make our local farm food a more prominent part of his produce section and would like to coordinate with farmers so that those interested in getting into this market can plan for next season. Coordinate now as you plan for next years planting!
Following the discussion we will be showing Dirt! The Movie, which explores the topic of soil as a living thing and the impacts it has in all of our lives- economically, environmentally and politically. We will be serving Moroccan veggie stew and couscous as well, so bring your appetite and your questions for Justin.
