LET'S CONNECT ON FACEBOOK!

Come follow/friend my personal Facebook account HERE. It'll help you see what I post if we connect that way, rather than only following my Let Me Start By Saying Page

LET'S TALK ABOUT BOOKS!

What I'm reading:
  • Read THE HUNDRED LIES OF LIZZIE LOVETT by Chelsea Sedotu (teen contemporary fiction). It was slow for me to get into, but I stuck with it because a bunch of people whose taste is similar to mine loooooved this one. I ended up liking it--it's different and strong and interesting--but didn't quite fall in love with it like they did. Give it a try!
  • Listened to ARU SHAH AND THE END OF TIME by Roshani Chokshi (middle grade fantasy, set in contemporary times). So fun!
  • Read THE WEDDING DATE by Jasmine Guillory (romance, adult fiction). It was a good one about enjoying a "why not?" dating experience and getting over your own head stuff to maybe take it to the next level.
  • Read SAWKILL GIRLS by Claire Legrand (teen/ya). So dark and twisty and female-driven. Read this one, if not just for the writing, itself.
I try to put what I'm reading/have read on Goodreads, so I don't lose track. Check in over there when you can!

If you like to talk about books--particularly YA and fiction--I have a Facebook group you can join. I share books I read/love/want to talk about there, and encourage you to lurk or share, too! Join here.

MISC.
  • I watched DUMPLIN' on Netflix and aaaaaaaaaaahhhh it was so good! The slight changes they made helped it be good for a wider audience (I'll let my 11yo watch this).
  • I watched CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES on Netflix with my daughter, and laughed so much! It was a genuinely fun, funny and at times moving family movie for the holidays. OMG Kurt Russel as Santa? My joy explodeth.
