Notices

Colleagues will be saddened to hear that the Revd Canon David Henley died peacefully in the early hours of Monday 10 December.
Since he retired as Rector of the Chalke Valley he had fought valiantly against cancer and heart disease but remained a true priest to the end. He will be sorely missed by his family, his friends and colleagues. His funeral will be at All Saint's Church in Broad Chalke but further details are not known at this stage. Prayers are asked for his brother, Christopher, his sons William and Anthony and his four grandchildren.
Encourage people into church
The CofE expects nearly half a million visitors to use A Church Near You in December, thanks to the national #FollowTheStar campaign. ACNY has a new campaign feature, which personalises a church's homepage with the national campaign's branding. Users can find the church's Christmas events and services more easily, and access resources.
