The Christmas Bird Count will take place on Sunday, December 16th. As in previous years the event is organized by Steve Hampton. He has posted information on the count, the ten areas, a link to a Google Earth map of the count circle and its 10 areas, and contact information for the area leaders on the Yolo Audubon website at https://yoloaudubon.org/christmas-bird-count/.
Please sign up for the area of your choice by contacting Steve or one of the area leaders directly. Contact information for each leader is on the website.
You are invited to join us after the count for an evening potluck at the Redwood Building at 1111 Anderson (NOT the Davis Senior Center). The building is located directly southwest of the tennis courts on Anderson. You must park on the street or at the Cesar Chavez Elementary School parking lot.
It's always a fun evening, and you're welcome to the potluck even if you don’t count during the day.
