In 2019, we look forward to preparing our new three year strategic plan to support the industry, and recruiting a new General Manager and a volunteer treasurer to be co-opted onto its board of directors in 2019 (refer left for details). Thank you for supporting Music Victoria and helping us support our wonderful music community.

The Music Victoria office will be closed from 5pm tomorrow Friday 21 December, and will re-open on Monday 7 Jan.

It’s been a bumper year for music in Victoria. In fact, based on new data recently released by Live Performance Australia, we have added $277 million to the economic contribution of live music in the Melbourne Live Music Census, bringing the total value of Melbourne’s live music in 2017 from $1.43 billion to $1.7 billion.
