ThinkSwiss Research Scholarship:
Application Call
Salü Miteinander
I know we have some of the most talented, brightest and inspiring individuals right among us. I encourage you to follow your passion. Giulia Parini from the Office of Science, Technology and Higher Education at the Embassy of Switzerland in Washington DC sent me the attached scholarship program information. Please pass this onto anybody you may know that might be interested or could benefit.
Note, January 15th, 2019 is the deadline for this scholarship program. Beyond this important date, further information can be found at the Think Swiss Tumblr Blog. This might be useful for other educational or research related ventures.
If you're interested in working with apprentices to train, fill and promote some of the most motivated and productive individuals, CareerWise Colorado is coordinating programs similar to the apprentice programs in Switzerland that have been very successful for many years. Visit CareerWise Colorado for details.
If you’re interested in connecting with others who have ties with Switzerland, our Swiss-American Friendship Society hosts regular Stammtisch gatherings and events throughout the year. Our next Stammtisch is in Boulder at the Bohemian Biergarten, next Wednesday, December 19th. Also mark your calendar for our Annual SAFS Fondue Dinner and Club Meeting on February 10th. Visit SAFS.us for more club details.
Last but not least, I have been told that Edelweiss Air will fly once again non-stop between Denver and Zürich, every Monday and Friday between May 17th and September 16th. Visit Fly Edelweiss for more information.
Viele Grüsse and Happy Holidays
