The holidays are here so we wanted to let you know when the EVRPD facilities will be available for all of your winter recreation activities.

Lake Estes 9-Hole Golf Course
Open daily from 8 a.m. to noon, longer on nice days
Closed Christmas and New Year's Day

Estes Valley Community Center
Open daily
Monday to Friday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day
Open 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve
Note that fitness classes will not be held from December 24 to January 1.

Estes Valley Senior Services
Open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Closed Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year's Day

New After School Program

EVRPD is offering a new after school recreation program.
Estes Park After School Summit — E-PASS
Starting January 15, 2019 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
For kids in kindergarten to 5th grade
Each six-week program is $60
Themes/Topics
Tuesdays: Outdoor Recreation and Education
Wednesdays: Non-traditional Sports
Thursdays: Mask Making

Make a Splash • Learn to Dive

     

Dive Into Diving Class

In this introductory course designed for the recreational or aspiring competitive diver, participants will learn:
• diving board safety
• forward and backward takeoffs
• feet-first and head-first entries
• four basic dives (forward, backward, inward and front somersaults)
Four sessions between January 12 and May 4. Classes held on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m.

Become a Certified Lifeguard

EVRPD is looking for responsible adults and young adults to keep our patrons safe in the pools.
Dates:
• December 26 to 29
• January 2 to 5
Registration deadline: December 26
Fee: $135
(waived if obtain job with EVRPD as a lifeguard)
