Imam Ridha [a] said: "The Almighty God sends down an angel in the early hours of the Eve of Friday (i.e. Thursday night) and commands him to call out: 'Is there anyone asking Me, so I may grant him? Is there anyone turning to Me, so I may turn to him? Is there anyone repenting, so I may forgive him?'"
