Looking Ahead to 2019
After engagement with stakeholders and workgroups over the past months, the SCTA Advisory Council is now meeting to finalize the 2019 Strategic Plan. Our strategies include: Deploying and open-access network; Focusing on the health of those living in rural areas; Building and scaling services and programs that expand access; Broadening mental health clinical services; Conducting provider and public education and training; Developing and facilitating statewide collaboration; Establishing telehealth outcomes; and Demonstrating the impact of telehealth to providers, payers, policy-makers, and the public. 

Stay tuned for more information about the 2019 Strategic Plan for continuing the growth of telehealth in South Carolina.

Our South Carolina Telehealth Alliance Content Advisory Team won a Golden Tusk award for the My Telehealth campaign led by SCETV! This award was presented by Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations & Marketing Society (CHPRMS). Read more

The South Carolina Telehealth Alliance is a statewide collaboration of many organizations joining forces to expand telehealth services across the state. The Alliance provides guidance, assists with strategic development, and advises on technology and standards to develop an open-access network that gives all South Carolina residents access to quality health care, while effectively managing the cost of providing care.
