Your Gift Makes a Difference
Claudia Pires

My name is Claudia M. Brito Pires ’19. I am a senior neuroscience major from Cape Verde, Africa. For the past four years, I have worked as a Maryville College Phonathon Caller. During my calls, I have heard many stories from alumni about the personal attention they received from professors, lifelong friendships they made with classmates, and interesting and challenging courses they took. I am always happy to share that all these aspects are still very much a part of the MC experience for today’s students. Annual donations to the Maryville Fund make it possible for me and so many other students to have experiences that will shape the rest of our lives. I write today to ask you to renew your Maryville Fund support. Your gifts make a world of difference to students like me!
