Third Sunday of Advent

Thank you from the Mother's Group

Thanks to our generous parishioners $1010 was donated to the Mothers Group
which allowed them to gift-wrap 75 hat and mitts packages
to be delivered by our moms to homeless families.

2019 Offertory Envelopes

Please pick up your 2019 Offertory Envelopes this weekend after all masses. The envelopes are in cardboard trays behind the last pew.
Please double check your address information on the label of your donation box. Please contact the office with any required updates.

 for Christmas

Please volunteer to help decorate the church for Christmas
on Saturday Dec 22nd, 2018 at 9:30 AM.

We need volunteers with physical strength to set up the trees and people willing to share their talents to decorate the church and the Christmas trees.

 2018 Ecumenical Christmas Food Drive
A sincere thanks to all those who contributed to the 2018 Ecumenical Food Drive
and the many hard working volunteers who made this wonderful community endeavor happen once again.

We collected close to 15,000 items which is higher than last year. This is a remarkable result given that it takes place on one day and also recognizing that there are now more similar events within the GTA.

Also, $3800 was contributed to allow for further bulk purchases
by the food banks to meet their needs.

 Christmas Cheer Thank you

Christmas cheer was a great success thanks to
Denise Omand and all our Elves,

We would also like to thank the OLPH Craft Circle for the $425 donation from the craft sale and Larry and Anita Pick for $175 donation from the honey sale.

For a couple to be married at our Lady of Perpetual Help at least one of the individuals must live within the boundaries of the parish. If one of the individuals is not Catholic, it is the Catholic party that must live within the boundaries of the parish. For your convenience the following are the boundaries of the parish:

  • North: Chaplin Crescent, Davisville Avenue
  • East:  South on Forman Avenue, east on Balliol St., south on Cleveland Street, east on Merton St., south on Bayview Avenue, Bayview Avenue Extension
  • South: Park Drive Reservation, south on Mount Pleasant Rd., west on Crescent Road
  • West: North on Yonge Street, CPR tracks, Avenue Road, east on St. Clair Avenue West, Oriole Road, Lonsdale Road, Oriole Parkway, Kilbarry Road

If neither party seeking to be married at Our Lady of Perpetual Help lives within the boundaries of the parish then they must have been registered as a parishioner and financially supporting the parish for six months before any date for a marriage will be discussed.

  • online registration & Mass schedule
  • homilies & readings in audio & text versions
  • e-Calendar – don’t miss parish meetings
  • news & events in Parish & Beyond, many photos, info on the Catholic Faith and much more…

1.      If someone has hurt themselves or fainted but is breathing please DO NOT disrupt the Mass  if it is determined that the person’s condition is serious enough to warrant professional assistance then call 911.

2.      If the person is NOT BREATHING, please stand up, interrupt the Mass and in a clear voice announce that we have a medical emergency. Ask that someone call 911  and give location of OLPH Church (St. Clair & Mt. Pleasant Rd) and immediately ask that someone else go to the sacristy to get the parish defibrillator and begin to treat the person appropriately for the condition until help arrives.
