Monthly Meeting

This meeting the chair will present an annual report and discuss future plans. We hope everyone had wonderful holidays and is ready for 2019! SLEC has also chosen the members of its convention committees. 7 people were selected to fill Platform, Rules, Convention, and Credentials for the 2020 convention cycle.

Movie Night

Come hang out and watch a movie. No agenda. Bring food and drinks if you wish. We haven't picked a movie yet and will likely pick one on that day this time.
Operations Meeting

We hold a planning and operational meeting every 1st Tuesday of the month. These meetings are for volunteers to plan and coordinate party activities. If you are interested in volunteering or becoming more involved this may be a meeting you want to attend. This meeting is all about party business. We will be looking to 2019 starting with this meeting.
Legislative Volunteers Needed
The legislative session has started and bills are being filed.
The Libertarian Party of Texas (LPTX) is seeking volunteers to help track the activities of legislators during the upcoming 140-day Legislative Session which begins on January 8, 2019. Bill are already starting to be filed. Some of these bills include legislation on marijuana, taxes and daylight saving time.
