OutSummit Pictures
Last week saw 50 global activists tell their stories in over 30 meetings with governments and UN agencies. Then over 250 people joined OutRight for its annual OutSummit! Karamo Brown spoke along with the lawyers who won their case to decriminalize homosexuality in India and many other global LGBTIQ leaders. Levi's also provided jackets to global activists (pictured above).

The BBC - one of the most important global news sources - announced the creation of an LGBT correspondent and gave the job to Ben Hunte, currently a presenter on "What's New" a digital TV program for children in Africa. Besides a journalism masters, he also has his bacelor's in neuroscience.

More comments from the Vatican as Pope Francis demeans gay members of the priesthood.

Anti-LGBT groups destroyed a billboard stating, "Nothing to be afraid of. It's just love" in Varna, Bulgaria as both political groups oppose advancing equality.
