CELEBRATING THE GHOSTS OF CHRISTMAS' PASSED


There's been a lot of ghost talk on All Hallows Geek this week, which is why it's so convenient that I'm writing this to you after returning home from another haunting evening on The Queen Mary. You might recall that back in September I was invited to experience Aiden Sinclair's “Illusions of the Passed; Legends of the Queen Mary, A Theatrical Séance!”, well tonight I was invited back to experience Aiden Sinclair's holiday show, "Ghost of Christmas Passed, A Theatrical Séance." While it carries much of the same message of the show I saw in September and featured some of the same "tricks," it also reminds you that the greatest gift we can receive this holiday season is life and the time we have on this earth. I'll be doing a full review of the show in the coming days, but if you're in the area the new holiday version of the show is worth checking out.

While we're on the subject of ghosts, have you ever wondered why Andy Williams' 1963 Christmas classic “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” features the lyrics “There’ll be scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago?" I did a little research and it turns out ghost stories were as much a part of Christmas as they were Halloween up until about the turn of the 20th century.
