CHRISTMAS CARDS - Christmas cards to go to Trinity church family can be left,  grouped by surname initial on the table between Church and the coffee lounge. Please collect cards left for you from there. If you prefer to send one card to the Church family then that can be displayed on the board in the main Church Foyer where a space will be made for them.

NATIVITY - Trinity’s Nativity Service is on Sunday 23rd December at 10:30am. This years Nativity gives everyone the chance to get involved, so why not come dressed up as a character from the nativity so that you are ready to be involved! Maybe you’ve always wanted to be Mary, or would like to be a star or the innkeeper. Have a think about your outfit or come along early to choose a costume from the Church nativity box.

CHRISTMAS DAY COMPETITIONS - At Trinity’s Christmas Day service, as has become a tradition, there will be a competition for those who choose to wear a Christmas outfit. This year there will be two prizes, one for the best Christmas outfit and one for the outfit that best depicts a Christmas Carol (the ones we sing not the film!). Can you improve on last years Donkey?

ALPHA - Trinity is running Alpha again in January. Alpha is a great opportunity to learn more about the Christian Faith or to refresh your knowledge of the foundations of faith. There is more information on the flier available in the foyer. If you’d like to find out more or book a place, please speak to David (Trinity’s Minister). To make Alpha happen we need people from the Church community to support. Please pray for Alpha that it will help people meet and get to know Jesus, and pray for who God might be prompting you to invite along to the course. If you feel you could help with serving or washing up for the meal on some of the weeks there is a rota by the kitchen to sign up, or if you’d like to be part of the weekly prayer team please let David know. David Goodall.

TOY APPEAL - If you would like to contribute to the Salvation Army Toy Appeal this year please give gifts to Tara Goodall by mid-December (new toys only). Thank you.

LIVING WATERS - The winter edition of the circuit magazine “Living Waters” is now available in the foyer and in the coffee lounge. Please take one.

FOOD BANK - The food bank needs tins of meat and potatoes, long-life milk, sugar, jars of coffee and ordinary biscuits (speciality tins are being set aside with their Christmas stuff). Bring your donations with you on a Sunday morning and leave in the designated box in the Church Foyer. This week it is our turn to pack bags at the foodbank so a volunteer is needed for Mon 10th and Fri 14th Dec. Peter Smith/Claire Pyle.

CAROLS AT HEXHAM GENERAL HOSPITAL - Singing on the wards will take place on Monday 17th December starting at 7pm. If you would like to join in or need further information please contact John in the church office.

She is happy to go anywhere and collect them in her van. Loree works with ex-offenders pre and post-release, although recently she has been working with Sunderland City Council to support vulnerable families. If you have a mattress you no longer need, please contact Loree on 07540272051 or loree@makeyourway.org.uk.
