On any given month, over 1,000 families receive healthy groceries and meaningful support from WBAEFS. Of those served, nearly half are children. Every day we hear stories from neighbors in our community:
Working parents who can't pay a heating bill and buy food in the same month. Students whose only reliable meals are school lunches Seniors whose social security checks don't cover their living expenses.
Seniors like Sue, recently retired and an active participate at a monthly mobile market. "I need to thank you for the food shelf and tell you how deeply I appreciate being allowed to benefit from it," she says while filling her cart with fresh fruits and veggies, "I can stock my fridge and shelves for a month and have money to keep my car running. Because of your graciousness I can feel satisfied, abundantly living out my life."
Because of your continued support, the WBAEFS is here to help neighbors stock their shelves with healthy food, while also providing a meaningful connection to resources in the community.

Holiday Baking Bags
Collect items and assemble Holiday Baking Bags for over 400 families at the White Bear Area Emergency Food Shelf.
During the month of December, every family utilizing the Food Shelf's monthly market will receive a Holiday Baking Bag complete with flour, sugar, oil, baking powder, brown/powdered sugar, and a spice.
