Warm greetings from Arigatou International Geneva.  

As this year comes to a close, I want to take the opportunity to thank you for your collaboration and support during the last ten years, as we saw the Learning to Live Together Programme developed from its conception to consistently grow and further develop. 

This year we celebrated key milestones and achievements that would not have been possible without your support, valuable advice, time, multiple contributions, vision of what it can achieve and contribute to, and above all, your belief in its cause and purpose. 

For the last ten years, the Ethics Education Initiative has been harvesting many innovative collaborations to foster interfaith and intercultural solidarity and action through the Learning to Live Together Programme for children 12 to 18, and this year started its adaptation to middle childhood. Many spin-offs have been developed to bring ethics education for children at the heart of peacebuilding, by enhancing the participation of children and youth, and promoting a different vision of education in formal and non-formal settings. This year we also saw the launch of the International Consortium to Nurture Values and Spirituality in Early Childhood to contribute to the prevention of violence through working closely with religious communities.

Over the past ten years of the LTLT, we have worked with more than 150 organizations around the world in over than 30 countries, reaching  411,000 children and youth through partnerships. Thanks to the 51 certified trainers and over 3000 facilitators trained, the LTLT has reached 45 countries and been translated into 13 languages and counting. 

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for your personal and professional support when the Ethics Education Initiative was just a dream. It was a pleasure to work with you over all these years and I sincerely hope we can continue counting on your wisdom and support in the years to come. 

I wish you a blessed New Year filled with renewed hope and faith, gratitude and joy. May you continue bringing inspiration to the lives of those around you.
