For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on Hs shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over His kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.
— Isaiah 9:6-7
Merry Christmas
from Mrs. See and the
PHCS Teachers & Staff
See you in 2019!
Have a wonderful Christmas Break! Remember, there is NO SCHOOL TODAY, December 21! School will reconvene on Monday, January 7, 2019! In the meantime, Dads in Prayer will be meeting on Wednesday, January 2, 2019! What a special way to start the new year...so join us for coffee, a breakfast bite, and some mighty prayer for a small but mighty school!
Christmas Eve at OCC
You are warmly invited to enjoy the Occidental Community Church Christmas Eve service. Monday at 5pm. An hour of festive fellowship and music, hosted by the church that sponsors PHCS.
'A Little Love'
Students were counting down the days as they were anxious to share what they had been practicing for months. This year's Christmas Program was a sweet compilation of songs that tell the story of Christmas and some well-rehearsed dialogue between students! Grandparents, alumni, parents, friends, and other loved ones gathered on Tuesday night at Bayside Church, Santa Rosa, to hear the sounds of Christmas from our PHCS students. We were all so proud of them. They ended the program with "We Need a Little Love" ❤. The generous audience gave a love offering for the teachers, and the school was able to directly pass those funds on to the dedicated teaching staff as a Christmas gift! Thank you for your generosity!

Caroling Chapel
This Wednesday we had the great joy of having Sandi King (former PHCS principal...and grandma to the Green Girls) help us sing Christmas carols to our neighbors, the Sunflower Preschool kiddos. We piled into their classroom to sing some favorites. We may have done several rounds of "Feliz Navidad"! 😊
School Christmas Party
Students and teachers gathered around the Christmas tree at the schoolhouse to listen to Christmas stories and then exchange gifts for one another, as a reflection of the giving heart of our Lord & Savior. We also enjoyed a song by teachers, acting out the 12 Days of Christmas! Fun was had by all!
Dads in Prayer on Wednesday, January 2 at 7:30am-8am
If you've never joined a Dads in Prayer, this is your year! Start out the new year with a focus on the important things! Pastor Rick Hahn will lead with specific requests for the school. Be a part of something significant!
