<<First Name>>

Everyone of the hundreds of people who came through our doors has carried a gift. We have been very glad to offer a quiet place in which each person could uncover, recognise and appreciate what is of most value to them.
We wish you all every blessing of this Christmas season and hope that, in 2019, we may together cherish and share what God will continue to do within each of us.

Oasis Days in 2019

Some places remain on January's Oasis Days - so if the thought of a day's reflection and prayer appeals to you, you might like to book one now. Our calendar or brochure will let you know about the other options to take some time in Manresa to reflect, pray and to hear God's call a little more clearly.
These days offer some time of quiet and space, beginning with registration at 9:30 am and conclude by 6:00 pm. They take place in an atmosphere of quiet where you can decide which of the elements on offer are most helpful to you, choosing from reflections, guided prayer and an opportunity to meet with a spiritual director. Mass is celebrated as part of the day.

Seeing the Light in Life

Bring your camera along for a time to notice what is happening around you - and take some time to see what is seeking life within you.

This weekend retreat will use light as a metaphor for life, evoking ancient wisdom from the Christian tradition. Led by Steve Radley, an award winning photographer and Anglican priest, characteristics and qualities of light will be explored and participants will be invited to find, reflect on and share images

The next evening of guided meditation and prayer will be offered from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm on Wednesday 16 January, presenting its opportunity to people on twelve-step programmes to deepen their awareness of themselves as they seek to improve their conscious contact with God “as they understand him.”
