FDA weighs legalizing interstate sales of cannabis-based CBD in food and drinks

The Food and Drug Administration is looking for "pathways" to legalize the sale of CBD oil and other cannabis-based compounds in food and beverages in a move that could remove one of the last remaining legal hurdles for companies hoping to sell such products across state lines.

Cannabis Use and Retail Stores

Retail cannabis stores must be licenced by the Province. Notice of application for retail cannabis sales must be posted at the retail store and City Council will be given a period of 15 days in which to comment. AMO suggests that Councils adopt policies to guide the review of applications for retail store licences. The Province will make the final determination on the issuance of licences.
