For SALT members and friends attending the AALS Annual Meeting in New Orleans, please join us in intellectual inquiry and celebration!

On Thursday evening, January 3, SALT and the American Constitution Society (ACS) present the Cover Workshop: "The Possibility and Potential of SCOTUS Reform."  Daniel Epps (Washington University), Ruben Garcia (UNLV), and Alan Morrison (George Washington) will give analysis, while Kate Shaw (Cardozo) will moderate the discussion.  Join the discussion, from 6-7:15 p.m., in the Parish Room, 3rd Floor, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.  A reception, sponsored by ACS, will follow from 7:30-8:30 in Quarterdeck C of the Riverside Building.

On Friday, January 4, the lunch of the Section on Women in Legal Education will honor Phoebe Haddon (former SALT Co-President, among her many other accomplishments) with the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Award.

Also on Friday, from 4:30-8 p.m. at Loyola Law School New Orleans, SALT's Annual Awards Celebration will recognize Lisa Brodoff (Seattle University) and Richard Klein (Touro) with SALT Great Teacher Awards, and James Silk (Yale) with the M. Shanara Gilbert Human Rights Award.

We look forward to seeing you in New Orleans!
