IMMUNITY-ENHANCING TONIC
With the busy holiday season, and cold dry weather, take care of your immune system with this simple and delicious drink!
2 cups plant mylk (almond or coconut)
2-4 dates, soaked in water 20 minutes OR 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp cacao powder
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ashwagandha (optional)
1/4 tsp coconut oil
Place all ingredients except milk in a blender. Heat the mylk in a saucepan; when it has just about reached a boil, pour it into the blender and blend until smooth and frothy. Enjoy slowly under a cozy blanket.
